BPL T20: Beach Concert Warms the Audience

A massive crowd turned up at World’s longest sea beach at Cox’s Bazar as it hosted an attracting concert on Saturday to mark the launch of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20.
The concert featured famous Bollywood singer Sreya Ghoshal, Bangladesh rock sensation James, Indian Idol runners-up Amit Paul, Close Up stars Rinku and Nishitha.
The BPL Governing Council on Saturday made a donation of Tk 2.5 million to the Cox’s Bazar Beach Management Committee for lighting arrangements of the sea beach. BCB Directors Dewan Shafiul Arefin, Shafiqur Rahman Munna, Abdullah Al Fuad Redwan, Imtiaz Ahmed Shamsul Huda Kislu, Mainuddin Chowdhury, Md Shahidul Islam and Game On Sport Management Director Anjan Ganguly were present during cheque hand over.
With the slogan ‘Save Beach and Safe Beach’, a human chain was formed before start of the beach cleaning programme. The human chain was marked by the participation of BCB Directors and national selector Habibul Bashar.
